Hello- all of my friends and compoodles out there. HarryHound here, and "Bow-wow-zer to you all!" (Pretty soon I should be saying 'Boo-wow-zer to you'...arf arf) Here's the Friday 'Hound Report' and time for a little canine canoodle. You know, it's a dog's life out there and many of you are feeling kenneled and penned up. You maybe even have a lowly four pawed view of the world, but try looking at things from my perspective: it's all looking up from here! The overall picture is one of GIGANTIC proportions. Stop and sniff the roses- and everything else you come across. A lot can come from a lick and a wag. Stand yer ground and don't flea...(a little Hound humor..:) Well-- maybe you'll get the hint from hearing about my pal Buster:
Not the Right Dog for the Job
Buster the German shepherd could have had a great career as a police dog had it not been for one flaw: His utter lack of interest in fighting crime. The canine cop took early retirement after South Yorkshire police noticed his poor motivation, his former handler said Monday.
Buster, who was on the job six months, has been placed with a family. Police Constable David Stephenson said. 'He has a lack of drive and motivation when asked to do operational work.' Two-year old Buster performed well at the start of his 14-day training program, but his work gradually deteriorated.
When patrolling Rotherham at pub closing times, Buster wagged his tail when drunken revelers came up to him and ate their fries. 'He just showed no interest in doing the job,' Stephenson said. 'He had no fire in his belly.' Associated Press
Well yeah!
Well that's the heads-up on the tales-up. I'll be back soon before we are outta here-
HH reminding you that it is not a good idea to bite the hand that feeds you
BUT..
EAT ALL THE FRIES YOU CAN!
